Once upon a time in 1992, two girls were born in the heart of Slovakia, in the city of Banska Bystrica. Karina (on the right) and Kristina (on the left) met while studying at the artistic grammar school and did not have any idea, where the life will take them. Karina had the Latin temperament since an early age while dancing salsa and always being in search of gourmet food. Kristina, on the other hand, had a talent and passion for fashion & art. When the time has come to leave the "nest", both realized that it is time to find their life mission and follow their passions.
After going separate ways for a certain period of time, their lives have crossed once again in the island of Mallorca, where their passions and interests transformed into the project called Soul of Mallorca.
Making Dreams Come True
Her professional food lover journey has begun 7 years ago, undergoing the hospitality management course and WSET wine certification program in London, while doing several month internships in Michelin * awarded restaurants. Next step in her personal and career growth was working at the position of Hospitality and Event manager for international branding company for 2 years while dreaming about the Spanish siesta lifestyle. In 2015, her life took a completely new direction and Mallorca became the ultimate life destination with great new adventure ahead.
Soul of Mallorca was born as a natural reflection of her true inner being and the answer to what she loves the most about her life, i.e. to capture souls of extraordinary people and transmit their passions into the form of experience for her clients. Long story short, Karina is a true bohemian who loves food, wine, dance but mostly people, because she believes, that life without good human relationships is like a meal without salt.

Turning a Vision into Reality
Kristina worked her way through the gastronomy and events world in London, where she spent 7 years working as an Events Manager and Event Planner for coveted restaurants, successful event companies, and Michelin awarded chefs such as Gordon Ramsay and Agnar Sverrisson. Having visited several Mediterranean islands during summer holidays, she learned that this way of living would be a great alternative to life in gloomy London.
It only took a few visits for Kristina to fall in love with this unique and beautiful island. That was the turning point for both of them and the stepping stone for Soul of Mallorca. Kristina, the co-founder of the project, has a very important role to coordinate and to oversee the growth of the project and to shape the countless ideas of “loca” Karina. Kristina also looks after social media, speaks to you through photos and she is a guru of art & fashion experiences.
